Aug 29 — Running Journal Entry

I had a great run this morning. 5 miles on the middle school track.

55 degrees — I saw the birds they saw me. I even saw 2 ravens. I can tell the difference between ravens and crows now. Ravens are much bigger and their tail are fanned out.

Sometimes when I run I notice my shadow and for me — it is my best friend. When I finished running I ran back home down the hill and came across a few middle schoolers walking to school. Every group and individual was friendly and said hi or smiled. Maybe it was an odd sight seeing a red faced lady. When I run sometimes I feel like I’m never been so sure of myself.
